6/9/2025 - Joined stakeholders in a letter to CMS Administrator Dr. Oz, expressing concern about expanded use of utilization management (UM) tools, asking that steps be taken to better protect beneficiaries by improving transparency and instituting additional guardrails to ensure that they have appropriate and timely access to treatment.
6/5/2025 - Wrote Congressional Appropriations Committee leadership expressing alarm re: $18 billion in proposed cuts to NIH in the FY26 budget. We encouraged continued investment in this crucial research agency and public engagement in any restructuring efforts.
5/27/2025 - Wrote sponsors of the Patent Eligibility Restoration Act, to oppose this legislation, which would overturn established Supreme Court precedent and expand patent-eligible subject matter to encompass abstract ideas, laws of nature, and natural phenomena.
