How we use your information
FORCE uses your personal information for the purposes for which it was submitted including processing donations and sending acknowledgements, answering inquiries and providing updates when opting into communications.
FORCE has its headquarters in the United States and information we collect from you will be processed in the United States.
Regardless of how you interact with FORCE we do not sell ANY information collected to any third parties. This includes but is not limited to donors and donor information, newsletter subscribers, event attendees and participants in our support programs.
There may be instances in which we share your information with others. We may share your information as required by law, to comply with legal process, to protect our legal rights, to protect the safety or security of a person, or to protect against fraud, criminal acts, or misconduct. We may also share your information with companies that provide services to us directly.
Personal Information FORCE Collects
For site visitors
You are not asked to identify yourself at any point while visiting this site. It's up to you whether to use your real name, a nickname, or some other identifier while using the chat, message board, or other public areas.
All information posted and disclosed on the public portions of our website (such as the message board) are available to anyone who visits the site. Please read our disclaimer for more on this subject.
Computer Tracking and Cookies
Our web site does not track, collect or distribute personal information not specifically entered by its visitors. We do use cookies to provide a better site experience for our visitors but these cookies do not collect any information that identifies the visitor. We maintain site logs which generate site usage data such as visits to our site and time on our site. However, this information also does not include any identifying information (such as name or email.) All cookies we use do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify you.
Online Support Groups / Public Forums
FORCE collects information from the online forums (including posts) to provide interactive communications and information for message board users. Information is not collected, processed, or shared beyond the message board functionality on our website.
We collect information from you when you register on our message boards and gather data when you participate in the forum by reading, writing, and evaluating the content shared here.
When registering for our boards, you may be asked to enter a name and e-mail address. It's up to you whether to use your real name, a nickname, or some other identifier while using the message board. Your e-mail address will be verified by an email containing a unique link. If you prefer not to share your personal email address, you can sign up for an email address through a free web-based email service such as Yahoo or Hotmail.? You may also visit our site without registering.
When registered and posting, we record the IP address that the post originated from. We also may retain server logs which include the IP address of every request to our server.
For Subscribers to Communications
FORCE has regular email communications that we send to members of our community. These are OPT IN only and you must complete our “Contact Us” form in order to opt-in. All opt-in forms on our website are on SSL, and the information submitted goes into a secure database. Donors, event attendees and users of our programs are given the option to opt in to receive updates when donating or signing up. No one will be added to our email list without selecting the option to be added.
If you prefer not to share your personal email address but would like to receive email from FORCE, you can sign up for an email address through a free web-based email service such as Yahoo or Hotmail.
All of our emails include a simple opt out link should you desire to stop receiving future updates. Once removed you can only be added back by completing a new sign up form.

For Donors
When you make a donation to FORCE, you will be added to our donor list and will receive information on future donor opportunities. Donor information is not sold or exchanged for any other purpose. If you have previously donated and prefer not to receive future solicitations, you may opt out by sending mail to [email protected].
In order to process donations, FORCE collects the following information:
- First and Last Name
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
- Credit Card (if donating online)
Online donations are processed through Click and Pledge and information is transmitted securely. Your credit card information is not accessible to or stored by FORCE. Your contact and donation information is saved in our constituent database and is accessible to fulltime staff members only.
Storage and safeguard of personal information
We apply appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with us and the practices described in this privacy policy.? We employ a variety of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
We will not retain personal information longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed, including the security of our processing complying with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. audit, accounting and statutory retention terms), handling disputes, and for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Updating and Accessing Your Personal Information
