Sample Bequest Language

Thank you for your interest in making a bequest to FORCE. We are honored that you are considering entrusting us to carry forward your legacy of supporting the unique needs of individuals and families affected by hereditary cancer.

Below are two examples of suggested bequest wording which you may share with your legal counsel if you would like to make a gift to FORCE through your will or living trust.

To FORCE, unrestricted:

"I give to FORCE-Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, Inc., a 501 c3 non-profit, the sum of $________________________ (or _________________ percentage of my estate) to be used by FORCE for its unrestricted purposes."

To FORCE for a particular purpose or program:

"I give to FORCE-Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, Inc., a 501 c3 non-profit, the sum of $________________________ (or _________________ percentage of my estate) to be used by FORCE for ___________________."

If it is ever impossible, impracticable, or inadvisable to administer my gift in exactly the manner set forth above, then my gift may be used for the general charitable purposes of FORCE as determined by the Board of Directors in its discretion.
