Women's Sexuality After Gynecological Cancer Treatments
About the Study
This study aims to allow women with gynecological cancer (ovarian, , endometrial, primary peritoneal cancer) to have a voice in expressing their unique experiences of sexuality after their cancer treatment.
What the Study Involves
Women will participate in two interviews, either face-to-face or virtually to share their experiences of sexuality after gyneclogical cancer teatment(s).
- one intial 50-minute interview
- one 30-minute interview a week after the first interview to review the information shared

- Individuals 18 years of age or older who self-identify as women with reproductive organs
- Participants must self-report having any cancer diagnosis of the reproductive organs (ovarian, , endometrial, primary peritoneal cancer)
- Participants who have undergone a minimum of six months of any combination of treatment modality for their GYN cancer
- Participants who read and write in the English language
- Participants need to have access to a smart phone or computer. In addition, have access to the internet and a functional email address
- Willing to participate in one initial face-to-face, or virtual 50 minute interview
- Willing to participate in one 30-minute face-to-face, or virtual follow up meeting interview, one week after the first interview
- Individuals 18 years of age or younger
- Participants who do not have any cancer diagnosis of the reproductive organs
- Participants who have not undergone a minimum of six months of any combination of treatment modality for their GYN cancer
- Participants who do not read and write in the English language
- Participants who do not have access to a smart phone or computer. In addition, do not have access to the internet and a functional email address
- Not willing to participate in required interviews
