This expert-led webinar presented by Bryson Katona, MD, PhD, will discuss the importance of identifying hereditary cancer risk mutations for colorectal cancer. Dr. Katona will present on colorectal cancer screening and prevention for high risk individuals.

Dr. Bryson Katona is the Director of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Genetics Program and Gastrointestinal Cancer Risk Evaluation Program at Penn Medicine. Dr. Katona is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he completed his residency and fellowship following medical school at Washington University.

We’re pleased that Diane Simeone, M.D., director of the Pancreatic Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Center at NYU Langone Health will be our guest speaker at this meeting. 

We’ll meet as a group beginning at 6:00 p.m. (instead of our usual 6:30) to address members’ general questions and concerns in an abbreviated meeting. Dr. Simeone will join us at 7:00 p.m. to talk about pancreatic cancer risk related to hereditary cancer syndrome, with time for Q&A after her presentation. The evening promises to be educational and informative, so please plan to join us.
