Join other young previvors who are at high-risk of developing hereditary cancer due to a family history or an inherited mutation (but have not been diagnosed with cancer), to share your story and discuss the unique challenges we face. Please note that group meetings are only open to young previvors around 40 years of age and under. Meet on Zoom and support each other. Group meetings are not recorded.

FORCE also offers separate support groups for caregivers and previvors.    

Topics may include:  

• Decision-making: risk-management guidelines, surveillance, medications, prophylactic surgery, breast reconstruction/no reconstruction 

• Work/Financial: medical/life/disability insurance, school/careers 

• Family: relationships/dating/marriage, sexuality, family planning/fertility 

• Coping: early menopause and other side-effects, isolation, handling the stress of decision-making, mental health 

Learn about FORCE resources and research opportunities to make informed decisions with your healthcare providers.

This meeting is for previvors who have a family history of hereditary cancer, just learned about their hereditary cancer risk, as well as those who have known about it for many years. Join us so you can make informed decisions with your healthcare providers and take charge of your health. 

Please note that young previvors are welcome to attend our young previvor support group, too.
