Tribute in Memory of: Rona Greenberg
In loving memory of Rona Greenberg
On November 6, 2017, we lost a passionate, respected and long-time FORCE Volunteer to pancreatic cancer. FORCE embraced Rona back in 2002 with love and support and immediately she wanted to pay it forward and do the same for others. In 2004, Rona was featured in the media raising awareness about hereditary cancer ever since. She enjoyed supporting individuals affected by hereditary cancer and sharing important resources to help them on their journey. In 2012, she joined Dave and Jessie Bushman as a Peer Support Group Leaders and organized local face-to-face gatherings in Northern New Jersey. When diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015, she became her own force in researching clinical trials and informing others about this disease. FORCE is incredibly grateful for her dedication. Rona was a true inspiration to all who knew her and her legacy will live on in those she loved and the many lives she touched. On behalf of the FORCE community, we extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends. She wanted everyone to know that “ knowledge is power and hope. By empowering others with this critical information, we can save lives.” Thank you, Rona! You will be greatly missed.
