Personal Story

My Mom gave birth to four children and all of us carry a BRCA1 mutation. This mutation was passed on to us from our Fathers side and he passed away in 2006 which was two years prior to my cancer diagnosis.
Mom stuck by us through texting, treatment and surgeries. She knew that Dad would not have wanted us any other way and he would have supported us too.
Mom passed away this past Friday and I am sure that she and Dad are celebrating their children, grandchildren and those yet to grace the earth through future generations.
Thank you Mom and Dad for showing love and support to us.
