This 5-minute survey allows cancer patients on immunotherapy (currently or in the past) and their caregivers to share their experiences, including their side effects and whether they were resolved or not.

About the Study
This Patient and Caregiver survey was created by volunteers from two non-profit groups to learn more about immunotherapy side effects. No personal information is collected. Goals include sharing results with doctors, care teams, and patient groups; gathering information about better ways to handle immune-related side effects; and working with researchers to find and test better ways to treat immune-related side effects. People can take the survey at Go.osu.edu/pits or with this QR code.
What the Study Involves
Side effects can happen to 4-8 out of 10 people (40-80%) who take immunotherapy. Little is known about how to treat these side effects effectively, so we need more autoimmune doctors and oncologists to work together. This 5-minute survey will find out what kind of side effects happen to all types of cancer patients who have had or are currently taking immunotherapy. All questions are optional and a list of immunotherapy drugs is included on the first page of the survey at Go.osu.edu/pits. This is called a landscape survey, not a research survey, and no personal information is collected. Results will be shared with FORCE and others in 2027 after The Ohio State University (OSU) and the University of Utah help us analyze the responses. Eligibility:
- Cancer patients who have had or are currently taking at least 1 immunotherapy drug for cancer treatment (see list at Go.osu.edu/pits)
- Any caregiver or loved one who has experienced immunotherapy with a cancer patient
This Study is Not Open To:
Exclusions:
- People with cancer who have not taken immunotherapy for treatment (see list at Go.osu.edu/pits)
