I'm creating this page to honor Sara Renee F. who lost her mother to ovarian cancer.

Personal Story

Here is Sara's story....

"Everyone says time heals all pain, but when you loose someone close to you the pain NEVER goes away and your world is NEVER the same. My whole world was turned upside down in the fall of 2009 when my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, but I don't want talk about my journey, but instead I want to talk about how courageous my mom was. Throughout her battle; she passed on May 10, 2012; with Cancer she NEVER GAVE UP! Even at her weakest moments she always put everyone before herself. She was more worried about how we were going to survive once she passed then she was of dying. She wasn't afraid. She demonstrated the greatest love of all, UNSELFISH LOVE! Her biggest fear was that Hannah wouldn't remember her, being that Hannah was only 2 years old. My promise to her is that I would never let Hannah forget how much my mom loved her! Since this month is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, I am dedicating my challenges in HONOR of my mom, Hannah's Angel! WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS!"
