FORCE Earns 4-Star Rating on Charity Navigator

May 21, 2018

By Karen Kramer, Senior Vice President of Marketing

Charity Navigator 4-Star IconWe have some exciting news to share! Non-profit evaluator Charity Navigator has awarded FORCE our first 4-star rating. This is their highest possible rating and indicates that we exceed industry standards in a financially responsible way.

Charity Navigator bases its ratings on non-profits’ financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Only one out of four charities rated will receive the coveted 4-star rating.  We are proud to be among this distinguished group and hope that it helps our constituents and donors feel even more comfortable that we are doing all that we can to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary breast, ovarian and related cancers.

We are proud of our mission and how we operate. You can view our accomplishments on our website, all made possible through donor support.  Some of our recent points of pride are our Peer Navigation Program that has supported over 1,000 participants providing each with 1:1 confidential support and a free resource guide with the information they need most.  Additionally, FORCE was part of the research recruitment strategy for the clinical trials that led to the FDA’s approval of all three PARP inhibitors for the treatment of ovarian cancer.

We are committed to being effective, efficient and fiscally responsible but we could not have received this top rating without you. Thank you for trusting us with your donations, your volunteer time and your good will. Your trust and support mean so much to FORCE and the individuals and families we serve.

Thank you for being a part of our goal to ensure that no one travels their hereditary cancer journey alone.
