This March 2012 webinar focused on IMPACT, an international study researching whether screening for prostate cancer in men who carry BRCA mutations leads to an earlier diagnosis and improved survival and whether men who carry these genetic alterations are more likely to develop an aggressive form of the disease.
Response to USPSTF Changes for Prostate Screening
The United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recently issued a draft of recommended changes for prostate cancer screening in men. The current draft guidelines recommend against PSA screening for men of any age. FORCE submitted this response to the draft changes.
