Join us in Madison as we take a holistic view of options to support previvors and survivors in our HBOC community. Julie Neitzel will present thoughts on choosing evidence-based herbs, supplements, nutrition and activity to support those faced with the challenges of HBOC, and invites your questions to narrow this vast topic.
Afterward, we can walk a few blocks to Community Pharmacy (www.communitypharmacy.coop) for a quick tour and for continued dialogue.
Our speaker, Julie Neitzel is a previvor who has been studying many facets of holistic health and conventional medicine for over 20 years. Her main studies have been in pharmacology, Ayurveda, herbalism and yoga, with snippets of many other systems along the way. She has not had any preventative surgeries to date, but reconsiders them regularly. Meanwhile, she does the best she can to build her health to optimally handle whatever may come up along her journey. She works for Community Pharmacy, a health resource in Madison for over 40 years.
Do you have a family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer? Have you tested positive for a BRCA mutation or are you considering genetic testing? You are not alone.
FORCE exists to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
We hope you can join us!
