Celebrate the Women in Your Life Event, Thursday, May 31, 2012, 6:30 pm

Penn's Abramson Cancer Center, Translational Research Center (adjacent to the Perelman Center) 3400 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA

Join us for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and an exclusive screening of Lifetime Television's movie "FIVE." The movie will make you laugh and cry, and it will remind you to celebrate all the women you love! Directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys and starring Jeanne Tripplehorn, this groundbreaking original movie is an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people's lives.

This promises to be a fantastic event! What can you do to help? Mark the date on your calendar, invite family and friends, RSVP and let Staceyj@facingourrisk.org know if you can help with planning and promoting the event.

RSVP at www.facingourrisk.org/RSVPPhila.

You're invited to a FREE screening of In the Family, a documentary that chronicles the stories of families undergoing genetic testing, the decisions they make as a result, and the impact those decisions have on their lives. Join us after the film for a panel discussion with genetic counselors, doctors, and local FORCE members to answer any questions you may have. If you have already viewed the film, join us for a local support meeting during the film. This event is a collaboration with P.O.V., PBS' award-winning nonfiction film series.

Do you have a family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer? Have you tested positive for BRCA? Are you considering genetic testing? You are not alone.

FORCE exists to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Local area FORCE is holding our monthly get-together and we hope you can join us!

Learn from other people who are navigating the BRCA path. Help someone else by sharing your story. This is a great chance to meet some local area FORCE members and/or catch up with those you've met at previous get-togethers.
