"FORCE is a great organization for the support and awareness of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. As a BRCA 2 positive woman, I know the various decisions that are involved regarding your health when you know of your risk for cancer. FORCE is the organization to support and help people at risk make their decisions."

FORCE is near and dear to my heart. I found FORCE when my family learned we carried the BRCA2 gene mutation after my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37. As a young mother who did NOT have breast cancer, I had many questions and concerns. FORCE put me in touch with resources that helped me understand my many options. I met other Previvors who had traveled the road ahead of me and when I made the choice to have a preventative double mastectomy and hysterectomy, I did it with confidence.

FORCE exists to improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Local area FORCE is holding our quarterly (or monthly) get-together and we hope you can join us!
Learn from other people who are navigating the hereditary cancer path. Help someone else by sharing your story. This is a great chance to meet some local area FORCE members and/or catch up with those you’ve met at previous get-togethers.
There will also be a Men's Support meeting held at the same time for husbands/ male significant others.
