"As many of you know I am a BRCA+, triple-negative, breast cancer survivor. Raising awareness and research for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer has been a big passion of mine over the past several years. Only about 10% of those who are at high risk for breast cancer even know they are at risk. Cancer became a big part of my life when I was only 8 years old and my mother was diagnosed with a very advanced staged breast cancer when she was only 32. She passed away about 2 years later."
