Confronting your personal cancer risk or a breast cancer diagnosis can be confusing and frustrating. Sometimes it helps to speak with other women who have faced these choices.

FORCE has many in-person and virtual support programs for anyone who has been touched by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

In addition, the following resources, your local hospital, the American Cancer Society, and some religious organizations offer in-person cancer support groups.

Other cancers have been linked to hereditary breast or ovarian cancer. Some cancers are associated with BRCA mutations; others are associated with other cancer syndromes.

Previvor Support

Has a section on their message board devoted to high-risk women .

Bright Pink
Specific focus on young women at high-risk for breast cancer

Hyster Sisters
Has a section on their message board devoted to cancer concerns.

Link program provides access to peer to peer suport.

Has portion of their message board devoted to genetics and breast cancer.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer
Has helpline, conferences, teleconferences, message boards, literature and resources for individuals facing breast cancer and their support team.

Links young Jewish women in their fight against breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Network of Hope (formerly Y-Me)
Offers a 24-hour support hot-line for those diagnosed with breast cancer.

Offers online message board for women diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40 and under

The CANCER101 cancer planner is designed to help newly diagnosed patients, those with metastatic disease, a recurrence and even survivors who are interested in managing their follow-up appointments.
