Prostate cancers are often identified based on whether or not they respond to treatments that block hormones like testosterone. Cancers that no longer respond to treatments that block hormones are called "castration-resistant" cancers. Prostate cancers caused by a BRCA mutation are more likely to become castration resistant. Some prostate cancer studies are open to men who have a BRCA mutation. You can use the search below to look for studies based on these criteria.
