Tampa Passing of the Torch from Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to Breast Cancer Awareness Month®
Join FORCE as we pass the torch from Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to Breast cancer Awareness Month! We are pleased to announce Passing of the Torch, our signature event for fall 2006. Building on the success of our Boston event held last fall, we will host the 2006 torch event in Tampa at:

Passing of the Torch is an event that highlights the hereditary link between breast and ovarian cancer, honors cancer survivors and those at high risk, remembers those whose lives have been lost to cancer, and recognizes families that have been affected by cancer.
The event will have local experts speaking about hereditary cancer and breast and ovarian cancer, and survivors who will share their stories. We will feature entertainment by by noted jazz-singer Belinda Womack and the popular all-physician band, Doc Rock! A ceremonial passing of a lighted torch from an ovarian cancer survivor to a breast cancer survivor will mark the transition from Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
