"It's in the genes" is an expession often used to describe traits that a parent may pass onto a child: height, eye color, sports ability. However, what happens when the genes contain a risk for cancer? honey

Approximately 10% of breast cancer cases as well as 15% of ovarian cancer cases are hereditary (passed on from a parent to a child via a familial link or gene mutation). As a result, there is a significant segment of the population that carries a BRCA gene mutation (Breast Cancer gene mutation) and may be unaware of the high-risk predisposition. FORCE is the only national organization for individuals in this high-risk community.

Brighton

Partnering with FORCE offers your company national exposure and alignment with the only non-profit organization focused on the concerns of both breast and ovarian cancer awareness, research, prevention and a cure.

Opportunities

FORCE will work with your company to develop a program that fits your annual cause-marketing budget (or help you develop one!).  We can create both online and live opportunities to promote your products and increase product sales including:

Percent of Purchase - Special Promotions with a donation from a specific product going to FORCE.  Brand your product with a pink (breast cancer awareness) or teal (ovarian cancer awareness) ribbon or entwined pink and teal ribbons to highlight your commitment to these timely healthcare issues.

A dedicated page on our site with information about our program, links to your site, retailers, online shops and other information you want to share.  A spotlight and revolving logo on our home page.

Additional opportunities to be developed jointly with your marketing team and FORCE.

ElementsWhy Cause Marketing?

In a stimulating and constantly evolving consumer marketplace, new competition from quality store brands and media fragmentation make it extremely difficult for marketers to command premium pricing for their branded products.

Consumers today are voicing their passion for various causes via clothing, cars, jewelry, etc. We all want to demonstrate that we are ethical, caring, good citizens.

In particular, Americans want to align themselves with brands, employers and even investments that stand for something we believe in and that we can feel positive about. Smart companies are responding!

According to the IEG Sponsorship Report (www.sponsor.com), American companies spent nearly $1 billion on cause related marketing campaigns in 2004. In fact, companies who highlight cause marketing not only attract productive employees, they also retain them.  Nearly 90% of employees report strong loyalty to companies that support a cause, compared with two-thirds of employees at other companies.

By linking your brand to FORCE you can increase profit while giving back to your community.
