Questions to Donna at email@example.com
1) Do you have a personal and/or family history of breast, ovarian, prostate, melanoma, pancreatic or other cancers?
2) Have you tested positive for a BRCA mutation (or another mutation) which raises the risk of certain hereditary cancers?
3) Are you or a family member considering genetic testing?
If so, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE) exists to improve the lives of individuals and families facing these hereditary cancers. The Cleveland FORCE group is holding our quarterly meeting and we invite you to join us! Learn from other people who are navigating the hereditary cancer path and help someone else by sharing your story. We are here to help! No fee and no RSVP required. Men and women are welcome.
Sign up for FORCE's new Peer Navigation Support Program! You can now get matched to a specially trained Peer Navigator volunteer who has traveled a similar journey as yours to receive confidential 1:1 phone support and a free personalized guide of expert-reviewed resources. You no longer need to spend time researching this important information and finding someone to talk to who understands the decisions you face. This program does it all for you. In addition, participation will empower you to make informed decisions with your healthcare providers.
This program is for you if:
Topics that you can select for your free personalized online guide include: genetic testing, legal protections, sharing with family, cancer treatment, risk management guidelines, screening for cancer, breast reconstruction, paying for services, quality of life issues, managing menopause, support, research and more.
Attend the 10th annual conference because hereditary cancer knowledge can be life-saving. It's an international conference designed by and for people and families affected by hereditary cancer, and will present the latest research on these cancers and a wide range of topics about making medical decisions, quality-of-life and long-term health outcomes.
Attendees include people concerned about hereditary cancer: survivors, previvors, people with a mutation or family history of cancer, patient advocates, researchers, and health care providers who treat high-risk patients.
You will have the opportunity to enroll in research, meet experts, share experiences and network with others who have first-hand understanding of all you are going through. We hope you'll join us!
