Talia Donenberg, M.S.,CGC is co-director of the cancer genetics clinics at University of Miami since the year 2000 and has over 20 years experience in the field of genetic counseling and cancer. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 1996. She obtained her batchelor’s degree at Columbia University and her master’s degree in Human Genetics at Sarah Lawrence college. She lectures to lay and professional audiences in the US, Caribbean and South America in English and Spanish and is published in peer reviewed journals. Her research includes BRCA and PALB2 mutations and breast cancer in the Caribbean, provision of responsible genetic services and long term management of BRCA patients.
