Alexandra IIacqua, MS, LGC is a licensed cancer genetic counselor within the Mount Carmel Health System, where she works with patients who have a personal and/or family history of cancer. She attended Miami University for her undergraduate training where she received a BA in Zoology and a minor in Molecular Biology. Alexandra then received her MS in Genetic Counseling from The Ohio State University Genetic Counseling Graduate Program. Her graduate training included a comprehensive study of all subspecialties of genetic counseling including cancer, prenatal, cardiology, neurology, genetics, and pediatrics. She is also involved in The Ophio State University Genetic Counseling Graduate Program as a member of the program's advisory board committee, a student supervisor, and a program coach for students.
