I am 43 years old engaged to a very supportive man , I have two girls one of them is 25 years old and tested positive for the same gene mutation , my mother passed at age 47 from breast cancer and my dad at 73 from breast cancer too.
I always screened myself since age of 25 when my mom passed away ,I was always scared to have breast cancer ,never tough about having ovarian
I was very upset after the diagnostic.
I had a full hysterectomy and went under chemo treatment
I had a bilateral prophylactic mastectomy and i am under reconstruction.
