Know Your Genes
FORCE Launches “Know Your Genes and Fill Them Out” Initiative
Knowing your family medical history can be life-saving. Hereditary cancers tend to occur at a younger age when individuals are less likely to undergo routine cancer screening. This initiative gives people the resources and tools to understand cancer risk and be prepared to make informed decisions if necessary. Empowering people to take control of their health and discover risks of an inherited predisposition to cancer may lead to earlier detection and prevention strategies that ultimately reduce the chance of dying from cancer.
This template helps you record your family medical history in one place.
This checklist is designed to help you assess if there may be an inherited cancer pattern in your family. Once you have filled out the Family Tree, this simple checklist helps you track the cancers in your family.
