What is a Chat-a-thon?
FORCE coined the term "chat-a-thon" eight years ago to describe a virtual, Internet-based event similar to a cyber awareness walk or race. Because our members are scattered throughout the world, our chat-a-thon is a way for old and new members to connect and share experiences, and particpate in an awareness-raising event to support FORCE from the comfort of their homes.
What happens during the chat-a-thon?
During our Annual Chat-A-Thon, we:
- Reconnect with our FORCE friends and welcome new visitors to the site.
- Raise money to continue FORCE’s important work.
- Showcase FORCE’s website and programs.
- Raise awareness about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
